We're on the lookout for a Content and PR Executive to join our dynamic and growing team based in the stunning Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire, delivering engaging content to build the profile of the agency as well as raising awareness of our growing roster of global clients.

Working on everything from high-profile fashion launches to the future of the education sector, from green energy pioneers to forward thinking food and beverage brands, we work with some of the biggest names in the UK and beyond.

No two days are the same, and we're looking for someone with related experience, be that agency side or in-house, in marketing, PR, content or social media management, who can really hit the ground running.

Supporting our team of experienced account managers, crisis comms experts and directors, day to day duties could see you creating engaging content for a range of platforms including social media, writing press releases, pitching story ideas out to the media, responding to media enquiries on behalf of our clients and monitoring and analysing coverage and social media metrics.

Organisational and analytical skills are a must, so if you're a master of planning and love a deep dive into some data, we'd love to hear from you, but more than that, we need you to be bursting with ideas to help us bring our client's stories to life through print, digital, broadcast and design.

The role in a nutshell

• Supporting Account Managers/Directors to deliver PR strategies and campaigns
• Creating content for printed and digital media; press releases, white papers, blogs, articles etc.
• Supporting with social media management, community management and social scheduling
• Liaising with the press & media
• Support with events

What we need from you

• Amazing written communication skills
• Good teamwork and negotiation skills
• Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to cope well under pressure
• Strong working knowledge of social media and content creation (SEO skills are a bonus)
• The ability to think strategically and good analytical skills
• A good knowledge of current affairs and a keen news sense
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on more than one project at a time
• Creativity and imagination
• Ability to use own initiative
• Previous related experience (PR, marketing, social media, content creation or copywriting)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car

The details

• Hybrid working with the option to work a minimum of 3 days in our office in The Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire and the rest from home
• Annual leave allowance of 20 days plus bank holidays
• Salary between £23k and 25k per annum depending on experience

Pay:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
