We are working with Primary Schools who are keen to employ Learning Support Assistants to work with their young people on a 1:1 and small group basis.

You do not need to have previous LSA or TA experience but some work with children with be beneficial.

Typically you will be support children with additional needs and some of the pupils may present challenging behaviours that require a higher level of support

The successful learning support Assistant would:

  • Work with these pupils in class and around the school building
  • Help create a safe environment for learning
  • Support emotional regulation and calm behaviour
  • Have experience of working with additional needs in a personal or care capacity
  • Take direction from the class Teacher, SENCO and other members of the SLT
  • Have a friendly and proactive personality
  • A personal consultant
  • CPD Academy
  • Teaching Personnel Portal for ease of admin
  • Weekly pay
  • Flexible working within a variety of roles
  • PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
