This is a full time permanent position, reporting into the CEO, starting in February.


The purpose of this role is to undertake the overall management duties and business administration of the London Office to maximise the use of their charitable resources.

The post holder will develop with the Chief Executive Officer a three-year businessplan in line with the overall Hospital Group's plan, including budgets, new business strategies and putting in place business practice.

The post holder will also oversee and work with the fundraising team to secure new top/middle-tier partnerships and raisevital corporate, major, and community-based funding from the UK and global donors.


Leadership and business administration

  • Represents the CEO in high level functionssuch as senior leadership meetings, communication with the Order's Great Officers and major donors.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with the UK based Priories as well as the Order International Office.
  • Work with relevant Senior Officers to identify potential major donors.
  • Represents the London office at the senior management level and participate in relevant Board committee meetings.
  • Manage the fundraising team and provide the CEO with accurate and timely financial reporting/forecasting of income.

Fundraising

  • Lead on major donor fundraising according to the set financial targets.
  • Oversee the stewardship of current funders and ensure that an uptodate schedule of current funders with relevant payment dates.
  • Work with the fundraising team to grow income stream by proactively cultivate a pipeline of prospects, adding new opportunities, updating information on proposals in process, recording and reporting the outcome.

Essential Requirements for the Post

  • First degree in business administration or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least three years in a business management role.
  • Experience in developing business strategy.
  • Superior leadership skills with focus on employee coaching and development.
  • Excellent management skills of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Highly competent in information technology.
  • Professional approach.
  • Selfdiscipline and ability to work to deadline.
  • Capacity to work under pressure.
  • Team player and ability to interact with external agencies.
