Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who are actively seeking to engage a
Laboratory Manager to join the company on a permanent basis.


What you will be doing:

Managing all activities related to laboratory testing. Evaluate resources, processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement both technical and financially and identify growth opportunities

  • Monitor and manage laboratory KPI
  • Performing laboratory tests as required
  • Keeping the laboratory organised and in compliance with internal and external LAB CRED accreditation
  • Keeping up to date with advances in food testing
  • Line management for laboratory team completion of appraisals and further developing a department training matrix

What you will need to succeed:

  • Management or supervision experience in a similar role is necessary
  • Experience in analytical and microbiological laboratory experience.
  • Experience of Laboratory Management Systems accreditation

- £35,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
