Experienced CNC Turner is required for a growing engineering facility in central Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

TTS Precision Engineering Ltd operates from a 12,000 sq.

ft facility, specialising in the design, manufacture and assembly of high precision parts for predominantly Steel Making and Aerospace industries, whilst also offering subcontract machining to the open market.

The Role

• Producing machined parts by programming, setting and operating a CNC Lathe. (Doosan Puma 600 & Mori Seiki SL75 Fanuc Control)
• Checking work meets quality and company standards through manufacture.
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance. (Monitoring Coolant & Oil Levels)
• Work with other members of staff to meet the company targets for efficiency and utilisation.
• Committing to organisational goals and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

• Advanced programming skills (Fanuc).
• Preferably experienced using CAD CAM, but not essential.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and check machined components with reference to drawings.
• The ability to work to a high level of accuracy. (+/
• A good level of concentration and focus.
• The ability to work alone and unsupervised or in a team environment.

Hours

• Monday
• Thursday 7:00 am 4:30 pm
• Friday 6:00am 13:00 pm
