Production Assistant
Purpose of role:
To support the production processes within Primark ensuring all creative photography is delivered to the agreed critical path.
Reporting to:
Assistant Production Manager
Location:
UK (Manchester) - travel will be required within this role
Duration:
Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Studio Team and Samples Team to support a cohesive workflow across all creative photography.
- Understand the wide range of creative requirements for both internal and external shoot.
- Support all creative teams in working to the critical path and delivering artwork on schedule.
- Assist the wider team in producing internal creative shoots ensuring all production aspects are considered.
- Build strong working relationships with business stakeholders and communicate with them as required throughout the production process.
- Liaise with product business to facilitate rackup dates ahead of shoots.
- Create shoot bible using images captured at rack up and proforma information.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure they have the relevant information pre and post shoot.
- Ensure product is efficiently shipped to and returned from shoot.
- Support with carnet of product and recarnet where required.
- Support the wider Production Team on set if required.
- Generate ideas to push boundaries and improve processes and capabilities focussing on the commerciality of decisions and actions.
- Set longterm priorities and goals aligned to Primark's objectives.
- Commit to shared outcomes and facilitate learning, ideas and information sharing across teams.
Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
- Experience in a Production based role.
- Good IT skills proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Process driven with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Ability to remain calm and focussed under pressure.
- Experience of working in a fastpaced environment.
- Fashion forward, product aware and Fashion Communications savvy.
- Equally creative and organised with a solution orientated mind set.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively cross functionally
Personal Attributes:
- Highly organised and detailoriented with the ability to plan and prioritise projects and deliverables working to set deadlines.,
- Ability to process, analyse and interrogate high volumes of data.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability in developing effective working relationships both within Primark as an organisation but also with third party suppliers.
- Operates with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
