Responsibilities:
- Support the Immigration and Mobility team to ensure immigration compliance across the EMEA region
- Day to day management of immigration across EMEA including case initiation and tracking
- Support the Immigration and Mobility team on new entity set up projects across EMEA and supports the business in providing immigration and mobility advice on a variety of projects
- Ensure that all of the immigration compliance obligations are met, working in partnership with external advisors
- Act as an ambassador for the department, driving process improvements and greater awareness of immigration sensitive areas through proactive engagement with the business
- Draft internal guidance docs and SOPs to share with internal business stakeholders
- Proactively react to complex or sensitive cases to ensure satisfactory employee and business stakeholder experience
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of working on immigration and mobility issues across a range of countries are essential.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a constantly changing matrix environment and ability to adapt, demonstrate flexibility to changing task priorities and work situations, and ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and comprehensive way to colleagues without an immigration background
- Ability to research technical queries by analyzing and interpreting legislation
- Detail oriented, excellent analytical skills, ability to take initiative with a strong interest in immigration, mobility and cross border transfer matters
- Immigration experience gained in a crossregional role and a bachelor's degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis to identify areas of improvement of vendor support, record management and compliance checks
Preferred skills/qualifications:
- 12 years experience delivering immigration services at an established Immigration Law Firm, Consultancy, or inhouse. Basic reading of another EU language
