Description

UNDO
UNDO is tackling the greatest challenge of our time: climate change. We are a fast-growing for-profit business that is already one of the biggest carbon removal companies in the world.

But this is only the start - we have ambitious plans aligned with great funding, excellent people and an inclusive team.

You too could make your mark and help remove 1 million tonnes of CO2 by 2030 with our nature-based technology, enhanced weathering.

Role Overview

A brand new role as part of UNDO's growth, this role is vital to bringing harmony, efficiency and clarity to our people.

Reporting into our new Head of People, you'll be responsible for keeping all things people operations running smoothly, with scope to take full ownership of some of our key processes and activities.

Although this role is predominantly remote, we'd love someone who can commit to travelling to London or Nottingham once per month.

This role is initially 3 days (22.5 hours) per week, with flexibility over when these hours are worked.

Where you'll spend your time

  • Ownership of our on
- and off
- boarding processes, ensuring we're setting our new hires up for success and waving off alumni as efficiently as possible

  • First point of contact for process or operational support this role doesn't include people partnering, so things like employee relations, performance management, manager coaching or team engagement _won't_ sit in your remit
  • Running point on the behindthescenes activity for any employee changes, including paperwork, HRIS updates and communication where needed
  • Organising team events and annual company summits, alongside the Head of People
  • Collaborating on projects across the entire people lifecycle where workload allows this role is a great opportunity to get exposure to a broad range of initiatives, although this is not mandatory

We'd love to see from you

  • Experience with a varied and fastpaced people ops workload, adopting a highly organised and detailoriented approach
  • Genuine enthusiasm for being in a supportive role, and excited to see how your operational work can have a significant impact on our team's experience
  • Keenness to drive efficiency, bringing in streamlining and automation where possible to ensure our time as a team can be spent where it's most valuable
  • A belief in our vision and product
