Aims of Position

Ensures all deliveries and returns are sorted in line with company policy and procedures including dispatch, packing, loading and unloading of product as required.

Specific Responsibilities

To ensure daily departmental targets are met.
All vehicles to depart within specified time frames to achieve all Service Level Agreements.
Complete all reports within specified time frames and to the highest standards of accuracy and presentation.
Ensure vehicles are loaded and unloaded in accordance with operating and Health & Safety procedures.
Comply with requests made by Supervisors and Management.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety.
Maintain highest security standards in the warehouse at all times.
Ensure the warehouse and premises are kept clean and safe at all times.
Report any issues of concern which may affect the smooth running of the warehouse.
Keep up to date with all procedures, operational and Company developments.
Effective use of equipment in the Warehouse in accordance with relevant competencies.

Skills and Experience Required

Relevant experience in a Distribution centre environment.
An excellent customer facing attitude.
Understanding of service logistics and its requirements.
Computer literate (Basic Microsoft Packages).
To work as part of a team as well as the ability to work alone.
To be positive with a "can do" attitude.
Team player, flexibility to move across different areas of the ByBox onsite team (e.g. pick, goods in, returns).
