Artemis are pleased to be working with this well known NI based Construction & FM business to help them appoint a new Accounts Assistant.


This is a varied and dynamic Accounting role, allowing the successful person to work across the Construction and Facilities Management divisions, offering great hands on experience and an interesting work load.


Applications are particularly welcome from individuals with a background in the Construction / FM Sector who will thrive in the bustling, high paced setting.


  • Monitoring of accounts
  • AP Raising of purchase orders, matching of delivery dockets to purchase invoices for job related costs
  • Processing purchases invoices for payment
  • Completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Query resolution
  • Assisting with monthly payment runs
  • Identifying savings across supplier accounts where possible
  • AR / Credit control review and assistance
  • Preparation of bank lodgments, recording and allocating receipts and payments
  • Issuing customer monthly statements
  • Administration of Company credit cards and posting to ledgers
  • Attend meetings as required by management
  • Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by management

Qualifications/ Attainments

Essential

  • 2 years minimum (current) experience of working in a similar role within a busy Finance department
  • Sage / Xero or equivalent experience
  • Practical experience of construction / facilities management service delivery or similar

Desirable

  • 3rd level Business related qualification
  • Qualified Accounting Technician
