ALS People are recruiting for a temporary
Transport Supervisor for our client in the Waste Management sector at
Aston Clinton near Aylesbury.


You will act as lead driver and be responsible for a staff of 6 drivers operating 5 x Roll on Roll off (Hook Loader) vehicles and 1 x 3.tn tipper delivering/ swapping RoRo containers at Household Waste facilities throughout Bucks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a small team of drivers
  • Route Planning/Setting


  • Risk Assessments

  • Routes, Collection Points, Disposal Points
  • Daily bin (Container) counts completed and correct
  • Tachograph analysis
  • Maintain all vehicles and ensure service plan are adhered to
  • Report any incidents, near misses, LTI's and absence management issues
  • Monthly Vehicle gate checks

Qualifications Required

  • HGV Class 1 licence
  • CPC

Experience Required

  • Experience of driving a Class 1 vehicle
  • CPC
with minimum 21 hours training

  • Computer literate ability to input and extract information using PC
  • Completing paperwork accurately
  • Experience of managing and motivating a team

Hours

  • 50hrs per week over 5 days
  • Start time is 06:00

Pay
- £16.00p.h
