Social Worker


This is a senior role for a Social Worker to work with adults, supporting people to join the organisation's services, families, and great, experienced staff teams.

£37, ,000 p.a. depending on qualifications and experience

Contract:
Permanent, full-time 35 hours per week

Your key responsibilities will include:
*Support the Director to develop the strategic direction for the organisation's Adult Services. Contribute to and influence the overall development of services.
*Market the organisation's services and maintain a waiting list for people we could support, match service provision and signpost internally and externally where appropriate.
*Lead on selected project work at the organisation and in partnership with external agencies.
*Inspire change and improvement in front-line practice and manage development and adoption of this within the teams.
*Consult with the front line and team leaders to deepen quality practice
*Communicate and liaise with a range of professionals to achieve positive outcomes for people and their families.

Experience working with learning disabilities/mental health is desirable, but not essential.

Knowledge of Jewish culture and community is not essential as you will be given the required training.


About you:
*Degree or equivalent in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
*Knowledge of external funding opportunities
*Experience in developing social and religious activities
*Evidence of effective liaison and cooperative working with other agencies
*Relevant social care or housing experience
*Recognised management qualification or experience
*Evidence of effective liaison and cooperative working with other agencies
*Experience in adult social work
*The ability to work on your own initiative
