    Accounts Administrator – A&M Commercials Ltd

    A&M Commercials Ltd, a reputable provider of new and used trucks, trailers, and plant machinery, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join the team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Sales Ledger / Credit Control

    • Maintaining customer accounts, including setting up new customers and allocating cash receipts.
    • Assisting with month-end reports and VAT filing.
    • Dealing with invoice queries from customers.

    Purchase Ledger

    • Accurately inputting invoices into the system.
    • Using Auto Entry software to streamline purchasing processes.

    Vehicle Stock Management

    • Updating and maintaining the vehicle stock system.
    • Monitoring incoming vehicle logbooks and ensuring accurate data entry.

    Essential Skills:

    • Proven experience working with Sage 50 Accounts Package (minimum 2 years preferred).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
    • Strong communication (verbal & written) and organisational skills.
    • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
    • Familiarity with DVLA systems (advantageous).
