Assistant Warehouse Operative - Weybridge, United Kingdom - Ashtead Retail

Description

• Receive and process incoming product shipments
• Organize product in our warehouse according to established protocols
• Keep inventory in a state of highest quality and accuracy
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Perform daily cleaning procedures including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Be prepared and trained to operate the laser engraver machine for engraving products as required.
• Assist with loading/unloading/unloading trucks as needed
• Keep inventory control of all product in the warehouse
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the company

• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to use inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Being prepared to work extra hours over December [Weekends included] (including period between xmas & new year )without the need for leave.

• The job will require you to not ask for leave during our busy period in December till First week of January (Including the week between Xmas and new year ) Furthermore you would be required to potentially be available for 13 weekend shift during this period (depending on our business)

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
