About the Role


We are seeking an Associate to join our expanding Land Surveying team to help develop and expand our portfolio of work across the north of England.

The hybrid role would be based in either Manchester or Wakefield.

Your role will include undertaking and supervising site works, work-winning, maintaining existing clients and developing new market opportunities to support growth, delivery and business sustainability.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working in close collaboration with the survey teams across the UK to manage workloads and share resources.
  • Identify potential clients and liaise with senior management to define market and client development strategies
  • Ensure tenders submitted reflect client requirements and are prepared and submitted in compliance with PF procedures and incorporate legal and commercial reviews as appropriate
  • Line management and development of individuals within the team
  • Advocating the team's services internally to our framework managers and technical leads
Essential

Preferred

Qualification

  • Under / postgraduate degree in surveying or civil engineering
  • Full Membership of or working towards chartership with either the RICS or ICES
  • A current CSCS card or equivalent.
  • SMSTS
Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience working in surveying related industries
  • Experience across a range of survey disciplines including topographic surveying, PAS128 surveying, Scan to BIM
  • Proven record of supporting clients, developing pragmatic and costeffective mitigation, and supervising implementation onsite
  • Line management experience
  • Knowledge of project management
  • Experience wotking in rail environments
  • Experience working in airfield environments
  • UAV pilot experience

Skills:


  • Excellent knowledge of survey methods and techniques
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and organisational skills
  • A collaborative nature, demonstrating strong relationships with partner companies in the supply chain
  • Be able to work well in teams and provide effective direction to all members of the team
