Acorn is proud to be recruiting for Production Operatives for their busy manufacturing client based on Omega Business Park in Warrington.

The roles available are initially temporary-ongoing, but may lead to a permanent contract after successful completion of all training and probation period on site.

The shift patterns available are a mixture of 12 hour days and nights over a 3 week rota with some weekend working involved

The hourly rate is £11.50 per hour with enhanced rates for overtime of £17.25

Duties:

Conduct and improve line setup and changeovers
Consistently ensure optimum food safety, including correct segregation of allergens
Ensure safe working practice whilst maintaining CCP and PPE compliance
Assist with shift handovers and team briefs ensuring maximum efficiency and communication
Monitor business waste, and compile and implement solutions to reduce waste
General housekeeping
Have previous manufacturing/machine operation experience
Understand food hygiene and HACCP standards
Have strong problemsolving skills
Be comfortable working within time constraints and able to meet deadlines
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to work within different areas (as per business needs)
Have a handson, cando attitude
