Classroom Support are delighted to be working with a Mainstream Primary School in the Havering area
We are currently recruiting on behalf of an incredible Primary School in the Havering area. They are aiming to recruit two general Teaching Assistants covering both Key Stages 1 & 2.

Long-term positions are available; they start as temporary and move onto permanent contracts after a 12-14-week period.

The school has phenomenal support mechanisms and facilities in place for staff. The school has a lovely atmosphere with ample respect shown towards teachers & inexperienced staff/visitors.

There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £375 - £400 per week, depending on experience for working hours of 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday, term-time only. To start in February.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Supporting children in the classroom, primarily in small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis.
Carrying out delegated tasks by classroom teachers in a positive manner
Using effective behaviour management techniques
Promoting the school's culture and ethos
Be willing to participate in lunchtime cover.
Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting within the last 12 months.
Minimum requirement of holding a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Must have or be willing to pay for a DBS on the update service.
