Financial Accountant, South Cambridge (hybrid)


Reed Finance are delighted to be recruiting a permanent Financial Accountant to join a leading manufacturing business based in South Cambridge.

You will have existing financial accounting experience and still be looking to learn and improve.

This is a great opportunity to work within a fast-growing and modern business and industry. It will ideally suit part-qualified accountants (ACCA/CIMA) and offers full study support.


Financial Accountant responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking and reporting of fixed assets
  • VAT returns, including intrastat declarations
  • Management accounts/budgets for 3 Asia Pacific sales offices
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with statutory audit
  • Assist in US GAAP lease accounting for capital leases
  • Performing month end tasks

What we are looking for:

  • Professional qualification or working towards
  • ACCA/CIMA
  • High motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Strong communication and team working skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • High level of Numeracy and Literacy
  • Understanding of finance systems and ERPs
