This post holder will work within United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, working collaboratively with the ICB, being a member of the LMNS in supporting the Strategic requirements of the National maternity programme from a digital perspective.
Working with colleagues to establish a culture across services that integrates digital working into practice and drives accessible information for families.
The post holder will act as a senior midwifery link between the Clinical Groups and Digital Services. To provide expert clinical advice and guidance to Digital Services colleagues; working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure suitable clinical engagement in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of digital projects; promote innovation and champion the development of a clinically appropriate information culture across the organisation and LMNS
To act as a specialist advisor to ULHT, the LMNS and relevant system partners.
To use information expertise to ensure that data is available to inform critical decision making post-Ockenden, to include benefits realisation of LMNS-led initiatives to support hard to reach communities and families.
To support the Chief Nursing Information Officer in regards to matters pertaining to maternity services.Provide the operational clinical overview and expertise to the design and development of informatics-enabled change programmes, especially within maternity services
In conjunction with the CNIO and Head of Digital Programmes, develop strategies, plans and activities to ensure that they deliver safe, effective, evidence-based and accessible services and systems to meet the health and care knowledge and information needs of patients and clinicians
In conjunction with the CNIO and Head of EPR develop strategies, plans and activities to ensure that they deliver safe, effective, evidence based EPR to meet the health and care knowledge and information needs of patients and clinician.
Deputise for the CNIO when required.
Work with the other appointed; CCIO, CNIO and Digital nurses/midwifes/AHPs/with input from a broad range of clinical colleagues to develop and promote the best use of digital technology in the delivery of high-quality care.
