PURPOSE OF JOB:

To ensure that you professionally represent Kendalls Cars by providing a skilled customer service to our clients through listening to their requirements/needs either on the telephone, online or face-to-face basis in a timely and polite manner.

Principal Duties

To greet customers in a polite and professional manner.
To provide a highquality rental service, to meet customer requirements and to promote the Company's services and products to all potential customers.
Handle all telephone and face to face enquires in a polite and helpful manner, adhering to the Company's high standards in telephone techniques.
Perform vehicle handover to customers informing them of all relevant information.
To run the end of day reports via our bookings sytem and to reconcile the daily takings.
To deal with all the administrative tasks required of role professionally.
To help with any other reasonable task/ad hoc duties as requested by your manager

Person Specification

Essential

Computer Literate
Must have an excellent understanding of Written and Verbal English
Strong communication skills, both face to face and over the phone
Ability to build rapport with customers and to understand their vehicle hire needs.
To be dressed professionally
Ability to multitask with outstanding problemsolving skills

Desirable

Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent
Possess a Clean Valid & Full Drivers Licence
Ability to prioritise and achieve tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Previous Vehicle Hire experience and knowledge of another vehicle hire booking system would be an advantage.
Prior Customer Service Experience.
Must be a team player and have excellent team building, management, and relationship skills
