Marketing & Events Executive


An exciting opportunity has arisen at our client an award winning, progressive, and growing company that really values its staff for a Marketing & Events Executive to join their busy and friendly marketing team.

This is a busy and varied marketing role, involved in a full range of activities across the complete marketing mix.

You will work as part of an energetic and enthusiastic team to deliver successful campaigns across chosen markets within a professional service environment.

Marketing & Events Executive
Where: Southampton Outskirts
Salary:To £31,000pa


Responsibilities will include:


  • Running of highquality events from establishing audience and objectives, project management and production of supporting material, delivery of event on the day and post event evaluation.
  • Coordinating multichannel campaigns from start to finish, including contribution to planning, design, monitoring and measuring and end of campaign reporting.
  • Promoting and strengthening the brand using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Use of design tools (primarily Canva) to design and prepare artwork for campaigns.
  • Developing and maintaining marketing materials, acting as a central point of reference for production.
  • Project management of podcasts, from topic ideas, to recording and campaign management via social and other channels.
  • Drafting copy for the website, publications and advertisements.
  • Internal comms via the production of the internal newsletter.
  • Maintaining a clear and coherent brand message in all communications.
  • Liaising with external contacts and suppliers such as design, PR and organisations they sponsor.
  • Contribute new ideas for marketing standards and processes.

You will need:


  • CIM qualification or degree in Marketing.
  • Proven experience within a similar role.
  • Experience within a professional services environment desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to liaise with people across all levels of the business.
  • Great project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, written communication and proofreading skills.
  • To be positive and proactive in your approach.
  • A full UK driving license and be willing to travel to the other offices.
