Hygiene Supervisor
Jess Fine Foods are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate Hygiene Supervisor to join our Management Team. Due to the continual growth of the business, we are now looking to strengthen our management team.


As our Hygiene Supervisor this will be a hands-on role supporting a team of 3 employees, you'll play a key role in providing instruction and training to enable the team to carry out tasks successfully.

You'll supervise, coach, and play an active part working alongside the Hygiene Team ensuring that standards and targets are met across the site.


What we are looking for:


  • Good Communicator.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in working in a Food/Meat environment would be helpful but necessary.
  • Driving Licence would be an advantage because of the location of the factory.
  • Confident in Speaking English
  • Legal Right to work in the UK

As Hygiene Manager, some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Hygiene Team to ensure the completion of hygiene schedules, plant and environment are maintained to a highest standard.
  • This is a working position, so the individual will need to assist your team with all aspects of cleaning.
  • Working closely with the Senior Production Manager and Technical Manager to make sure objectives are met.
  • Ensuring all hygiene schedules are completed correctly and filed accordingly.
  • Carrying out regular audits.
  • Planning and coordinating all hygiene activities and resources within the shift
  • Coaching, encourage and stimulate others to make the best use of their own abilities
  • Ensuring effective deployment of resources, forward planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • You will be a key holder and responsible for locking up the factory at the end of each shift.

40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6.00pm

Holidays: 29 days in total.

Salary. D.O.E

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

  • Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- cleaning: 3 years (required)
