The Role

The Risk Officer will be a stand alone role within this Boutique Asset Management firm responsible for providing risk support to the Chief Risk Officer alongside the management of all Bloomberg PORT and StyleAnalytics related functions and reporting.

The Risk Officer will support investment management for the fixed income and equity fund managers.

The Risk Officer will draft new risk profiles and review existing ones and monitor and discuss investment guidelines with fund managers.

The Risk Officer will produce quantitative analysis on credit and equity portfolios and develop new reports and risk indicators.

The Risk Officer will produce quantitative analysis on style and factor sensitivity and will monitor funds' activities, analysing transaction history and compare ex-ante risk with performance and ex-post.

The Risk Officer will develop methodology and produce liquidity risk reports for equity and fixed income portfolios ,interacting with portfolio managers, compliance and sales teams

The Risk Officer will take on special assignments and introduce new ideas and work practices within the Asset Management firm, working towards making the Asset Management business more successful, efficient and effective.

3-5 years in risk management or as a Risk analyst / Risk Manager in an asset management company - essential

Master's degree in a numerical discipline such as Economics, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering

Bloomberg, MS Office, VBA, SQL or similar coding system.

CFA, FRM charterholder - beneficial

Good knowledge of financial instruments and markets

Ability to work autonomously with good communication skills

Open minded and flexible
