We have a fantastic opportunity for a nursery practitioner to join our small family-like team here at Thriving Futures. We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing practitioner to join our team.

At Thriving Futures we provide exceptional childcare for all our children creating new enriching learning experiences which are incorporated into our daily routines.

Our nursery offers 27 daily places to our wonderful children meaning we offer a safe, nurturing and personal approach to childcare.

Our family environment allows all children's needs to be exceptionally met offering extensive learning based around their individual interests.


Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development based around their personal interests.
• Observe, support and extend children learning.
• Plan appropriately for children following our curriculum
• Maintain accurate and effective children's records.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
• Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
• Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.

The ideal applicant:

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified
• An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
• Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
• Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
• Managing and maintaining administration requirement

Salary:
£9.50-£10.50 per hour
