Data Administrator

PAYE

£100 p/d

Leeds (up to twice a week in the Leeds office)

ASAP Start

3 months initially


The Data Administrator will manage master data objects by creating, maintaining, and monitoring the data in SAP environments and other systems.

The administrator will provide the necessary data management and analysis support to support decision-making.
The data domains may be vendor, product, pricing, store, finance data.


This is a great opportunity for a Data Administrator to gain experience of working in an environment with Data Analysts

Essential Skills:


  • Experience of working with or around data
  • Previous experience with PLM, SAP and/or other central data systems is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information succinctly and concisely
  • Present a welcoming attitude to change and adjusts dynamically to continuous business change and improvement
  • Capable and proactively takes on different activities in line with business need
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels across the business
  • Ability to manage large sets of data, and identify and fix errors
  • Ability to quickly manipulate data, and prepare reports as needed in an environment with large data sets

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for SAP Master Data creation and maintenance across various data domains
  • Vendor, Customer, Retail Sites, Finance, Product, Pricing as required, in multiple systems SAP, FlexPLM, Stealth
  • Onboarding of data and mass maintenance e.g., via LSMW
  • Keeps transaction guides and SOPs up to date
  • Ensures that SAP Master Data adheres to defined standards
  • Ensures adherence with the endtoend Master Data lifecycle
  • Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Manager, Data Stewards and align to the priorities
  • Good knowledge of SAP system and Master Data notions
  • Ability to quickly respond to requests and prioritize the work
  • Managing of tickets raised in BMC Helix system
  • Error handling of system integration failures such as SAP idocs, Ariba errors, FlexPLM errors
  • Adherence to approval processes and procedure to meet audit requirements
