Psychology Graduate - Learning Support Assistant

  • Fulltime or Part-Time


We are currently recruiting Psychology Graduates to work on a full-time or part-time basis 2-5 days a week as a Learning Support Assistant within Primary School in Southend on Sea.

You will be supporting pupils with different SEND needs, such as Moderate Learning Difficulties, Dyslexia, Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but not essential.

This position will give anyone considering a futurein teaching valuable classroom-based experience supporting children on a one-to-one and group basis.

We are looking for individuals that are dedicated to supporting children of different age groups and have the ability to adapt.


Responsibilities:


  • Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
  • Ability to engage and support pupils
  • Support pupil's learning and development within the classroom
  • Supervising pupils behaviour

Job Requirements

  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties is desirable but not essential

  • Available 25 days a week and able to commit to at least 14 months
