Working closely with our Site Health, Safety & Environmental teams, you will be a key member of an ambitious, driven and innovative division of the business, driving and promoting the Health, Safety & Environmental agenda with a focus on compliance and culture, while providing support to the function managers and wider site on a wide range of health, safety and environmental matters.

The Role- As the HSE Coordinator you will provide support to the HSE Team on all matters relating to the operational functioning of the health, safety & environmental systems on site.- Actively support the site management teams to meet HSE KPI¿s and targets- Coordinating and completing daily and weekly site walks opportunities.- Investigating hazards, working with all operational teams to close out.- Administrating and updating risk assessments with the support of line managers and the H&S team- Completing SOP compliance checks against current SOP Standards- Manage and control the Control of Contractors Project on site, following up with contractors to ensure legal compliance.- Assist the HSE Manager in the delivery of any in house training programs as required, and updating training plans, matrices, and records as appropriate- Support the Environmental team with odour & noise assessment- Assisting the H&S Manager in coordinating and conducting site Fire Evacuation drills & monitor Fire Equipment.- Supporting the HSE Manager in preparation and administration of HSE committee meetings- Providing any other administrative support to the HSE Teams on projects or tasks as required


Essential- Knowledge of Health Safety & Environmental systems, including document control- Excellent organisational skills to deal with competing priorities and meet deadlines- Excellent comminucation skills with a proven ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the business- Proven ability to work as part of a sucessful team


Desirable- Previous experience of Health, Safety & Environmental Systems- An Industry Qualification (such as NEBOSH or Equivalent)- Working knowledge and experience of updating and interrogating company specific data management systems- Experience in health, safety & environmental monitoring techniques- Training Instructors Qualification
