The Opportunity:


We are recruiting for an International Projects Administrator to join our International Projects team in the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) and support international initiatives, particularly our partnership with Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU) in Gandhinagar, India.

It is an exciting opportunity for someone with administrative support experience who is interested in developing a career in University professional services.

The role is based in Edinburgh and will engage with wider SBS international work such as summer schools and partnership agreements.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, teamworking and interpersonal skills in a range of settings
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • High level of IT competence (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Able to work and solve problems independently Demonstrated ability to independently manage time well and deliver to deadlines
