Green Pastures run an extensive well being programme with many individual and group activities for our residents. We also have many volunteers who support us to meet the needs of our residents and their families.

You will be working alongside other colleagues in the wellbeing team, which will also include a paid Chaplain.

These are vital roles as Green Pastures has a vision for our residents to live fulfilled lives. This can only be done with a wellbeing team that stimulates them.


Green Pastures Christian Nursing Home is a non profit nursing home that has a rare opportunity for wellbeing co-ordinators to join our wonderful team.

We are a well known and respected nursing home for over 30 years in Banbury. We have high staffing levels and excellent quality of care.


We pride ourselves in offering an excellent standard of care to our residents and all aspects of our care are based on our vision of fullness of life, growth and excellence.


The well-being team need to ensure that a varied and accessible programme of activities is provided to all residents living at Green Pastures throughout the week.


We are based in Banbury, close to town and bus routes. Free Parking is available.

Main Responsibilities:


  • To hold a full driving license to enable you to drive our mini bus to enable our residents to have the best quality of life
  • It is provided of you to understand the area to allow our daily trips to be efficient and joyful for all.
  • Identify individual resident activity needs and wishes through assessment, observation, and discussion. This will be completed within 1 week of admission and reviewed at least every 3 months.
  • Work alongside the wellbeing lead and have good communication skills.
  • Liaise with residents, relatives, friends of residents and staff to ensure a full knowledge of the residents likes, dislikes, interests, abilities, and challenges.
  • Explore the most appropriate method and resources for meeting activity needs including group events, individual sessions, involving internal and external resources and community-based resources.
  • Provide activities based on a planned programme which allows for necessary changes to meet the individual resident's needs.
