About the Employer


I am a 65 year old man with physical disabilities and ailments and I need support in my home to help me with house hold tasks, meal prep and prompt and support to ensure I am eating and taking medications.

I am lively and chatty and love a good joke.

I have other PA's who provide my personal care, however there may be times this would be required if covering any hours for annual leave/sickness.

hours and days can be flexible and agreed between employer and employee Occasional assistance on outings or going to appointments may be required

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
  • Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
  • Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
  • Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
  • Support with food shopping.
  • Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
  • Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
  • Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.
  • Administering prescribed creams and massaging feet and hands as part of a daily requirement.
  • Companionship and friendship.
  • Assisting me on some breaks away or holidays (optional and will be discussed and agreed).
The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required.

You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident. You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.


Transport Requirement:

Car driver and car owner - must have business insurance.

  • I am seeking a personal assistant to join my team of carers to assist and support with all aspects of my care and support needs.
