    Full Time Permanent Position



    XPS Group is a leading UK consulting and administration business specialising in the pensions and insurance sectors. Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for an enthusiastic Pensions Administrator to join our vibrant Middlesbrough office with hybrid working.

    This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar administrative or customer service role, where they have gained knowledge and experience of MS Office products, or a recent graduate looking to embark on a career in pensions.

    The Job Description:


    • Updating relevant pension administration databases and systems.
    • Handling both Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) queries.
    • Receiving and handling internal and external telephone queries.
    • Performing manual benefits calculations.
    • Amending of, and with experience developing into checking non-financial work e.g. change of address.
    • Assisting the team with project related work e.g. bulk mailshots to scheme members.
    • Ensuring the accurate updating of time recording system (Virtual Office) for both chargeable and non-chargeable activities and meeting required utilisation targets.

    Your Profile:


    • Good level of education with a minimum Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
    • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
    • Able to see projects/tasks through to completion within given timescales.
    • Able to follow instructions, procedures, policies and assimilate information quickly in a consistent manner.
    • Enthusiastic, positive and flexible approach to work.
    • Able to recognise the need for a customer focused approach to their delivery both in terms of quality and exceeding customer expectations.
