My Client, a market leading specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Hydrologist to join their team based in Sheffield.


It is beneficial for applicants to have work experience or internship experience for a Local Authority or Consultancy reviewing Flood Risk, Geoenvironmental, GIS or Water Quality Projects.

This exciting flood risk opportunity will offer you the chance to join an established team based in Sheffield.

You will be expected to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, Water Monitoring and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients,Local Authorities and Housing Developers.

You will be trained to complete technical work including;

  • Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
  • Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Drainage Strategy for Planning Applications.
  • Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
  • Hydraulic Modelling.
  • Site visits and site walkovers.
You will be expected to work from the office and a more flexible approach will be offered following probation.
