Liberty Guard (UK) Ltd is a leading supplier of welfare accommodation units and marketing suites which we transport and service across the UK.

The Transport Planner will work closely with the Transport Manager and our branch network, allowing us to continue to deliver our high level of customer service by planning and distributing the delivery / collection of our sales orders.

For this role we want someone who is excellent communicator and remains calm under pressure. You will be the key person in ensuring we meet our delivery expectations.

These are the skills and experience we are looking for from applicants:

Previous experience within a logistics / transport role, ensuring optimum efficiency in terms of timings and cost.
Strong regional geographic knowledge
To have a good knowledge of driver's hours and transport legislation.
To monitor the delivery and collection workload, dealing with any potential issues ahead of time to facilitate 100% success rate on all deliveries and collections, and allocate additional work as required.
Possess very strong communication skills whilst liaising with other departments across the business to ensure whole team success.
To build meaningful relationships with our subcontractors and customer base.
To assist with vehicle maintenance schedule.
To assist, learn and develop within our Tanker Division, providing additional support when required
Be able to work under high pressure scenarios and possess the ability to quickly adapt to any new requirements presented in a short time frame
Ensure accurate data entry and general administration duties within the department
Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage several jobs simultaneously.
Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude
Other duties as and when required by the business.
