Consultant Geriatrician
This post will work to embed the exciting new virtual wards within SaSH.

This will initially involve the identification of patients in ED, AMU and the short stay geriatric medicine ward who might be suitable and onboarding them to the multi-disciplinary virtual ward where there will be daily virtual MDTs for patients.

This will require extensive integration and integration with our local community services in both Surrey and Sussex and liaison with the other front door geriatric medicine consultants and the various acute wards at SaSH.

As such the job plan my adapt as the role changes with time and as a team we would be flexible with this.
