Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Brick/jobber to join our team.

As a Brick layer, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing brickwork and other structures using various masonry techniques.

This is a hands-on position that requires expertise in bricklaying and masonry. Along with fixing and adjusting structural walls/steels.


Duties:

• Lay bricks in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and building codes
• Construct walls, partitions, arches, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, or stone
• Cut and trim bricks using hand tools or power saws
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto the brickwork using trowels
• Align and level bricks using plumb lines, levels, or straightedges
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or structures
• Install firebrick linings in industrial furnaces or boilers
• Use welding techniques to secure metal parts to brickwork if required
• Operate power tools such as saws, drills, and grinders as needed
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed efficiently

Skills:

• Proficient in bricklaying techniques and masonry principles
• Knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, and stones
• Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
• Understanding of building codes and safety regulations
• Experience with welding techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of roof construction is beneficial
• Carpentry skills are advantageous
