Role Overview


Trigon Recruitment are recruiting for a well reputed Training Provider who are seeking to appoint an Generic Childcare Assessor to deliver to a caseload of learners.

This client is rapidly expanding and this is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive employer for an experienced Childcare Assessor.


Role responsibilities

  • To maintain 85% retention and completion of Apprentices.
  • To ensure relevant paperwork is used correctly at all times.
  • To ensure that the whole assessment process is followed and that Apprentice portfolios are complete and up to date.
  • To ensure that all the compliance and process requirements relevant to your role of funding partners are met in full.
  • Remain up to date with any changes with the framework, qualification and assessment processes.
  • To carry out regular onsite reviews of materials and delivery methods with the Academy staff and report findings where required.
  • To deliver classroombased and workshop sessions to Apprentices associated with the Academy.
  • To ensure each group is following the agreed program and schedule.
  • To actively support fellow members within your team.
  • To report Apprentice issues to the Line Manager.
  • To deal with any disciplinary and classroom management issues following the agreed procedures.
  • To mentor Apprentices to achieve and learn professional skills required for the workplace.
  • To mark all Apprentice assessments and feedback to the individuals.
  • To continually review and develop support resources for Apprentices.

Essential

  • Experienced apprenticeship Tutor who is qualified (TAQA/A1/CAVA)
  • Qualifications which include L3 Early Years minimum.
  • Experience of working within an Early Years setting as either a room leader/supervisor/deputy manager or manager
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Good understanding of Apprenticeship standards.
  • Understanding of the EPA process.
  • Ability to use an eportfolio.
  • Strong success rates
  • Understanding of awarding body requirements.
The employer is looking to interview quickly, and this will be facilitated on teams.

Up to £29,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
