Description
The company is growing massively and has undertaken and number of acquisitions. This means they have created a new group function and are undertaking an implementation of Oracle.


The role will be responsible for supporting the group finance team and will assist with the implementation of Oracle as their consolidation tool.


  • Incept and implement alongside a systems implementation team a consolidation tool within Oracle
  • Data gathering including entity data and technical consolidations data
  • Perform reconciliations on data in the new system
  • Training users on best practice use of the system
  • Providing technical accounting guidance to operational finance teams as required.
  • Implement best practice processes across the group and maintaining the group accounting policies.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks

Skills and Qualification

  • Qualified accountant
  • ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent
  • Have strong experience of consolidations preferably within a PLC
  • Have strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS, FRS 101/102 etc
  • Have a strong controls background and know what best in class looks like
  • Preferably been involved with a systems implementation ideally Oracle or Hyperion
  • Have strong experience of Excel and data reconciliation
  • Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills working within a multinational business
