A rewarding and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to take on a
Business Development Manager role at our Huddersfield HQ.


The Role
As our next
Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching new business opportunities
  • Planning sales campaigns
  • Finding the appropriate contact in an organisation and fostering relationships with clients
  • Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers
  • Meeting with clients face to face or over the phone
  • Attending conferences and networking events
  • Understanding client needs
  • Thinking and working strategically
  • Developing an understanding of the businesses' services
  • Liaising with the Client Relationships and Programme Director
  • Keeping abreast of trends and changes in the pharma, biologics and medical devices world
  • Creating a sales pipeline
  • Increasing business sales
  • Carrying out sales forecasts/analysis and presenting your findings to management
  • Developing business sales and marketing strategy

Essential_

  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Marketing/Related Field
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time, occasionally internationally
  • Willing to work overtime and weekend work as required
