A rewarding and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to take on a
Business Development Manager role at our Huddersfield HQ.
The Role
As our next
Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Researching new business opportunities
- Planning sales campaigns
- Finding the appropriate contact in an organisation and fostering relationships with clients
- Generating leads and cold calling prospective customers
- Meeting with clients face to face or over the phone
- Attending conferences and networking events
- Understanding client needs
- Thinking and working strategically
- Developing an understanding of the businesses' services
- Liaising with the Client Relationships and Programme Director
- Keeping abreast of trends and changes in the pharma, biologics and medical devices world
- Creating a sales pipeline
- Increasing business sales
- Carrying out sales forecasts/analysis and presenting your findings to management
- Developing business sales and marketing strategy
Essential_
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Marketing/Related Field
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time, occasionally internationally
- Willing to work overtime and weekend work as required
Desirable_
- Collaboration skills, and able to build relationships
- Influencing skills, ability to persuade clients to the benefits of the services
- Project management skills, being able to set goals, plan and manage workloads
