Supreme Recruitment are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join one of our engineering clients based in Newtown.

Shift - Monday - Thursday 3.30pm - 1.30am - £11.13ph plus late shift allowance of 21% per hour.

Duties:

Adhere to inspection documentation to ensure a standardised approach to inspection routines.
Complete all associated documentation to provide feedback and traceability information (PCR's
PQR's
RFT
SPC).
Ensure nonconforming product is contained, accurately recorded and reported at the earliest opportunity.
Ensure that all equipment in use is within calibration.
Inspect and book in Raw Materials.
Inspect subcontract products.
Ensure a prompt and efficient measuring service is provided to internal customers.
Inspect samples taken from production at first off, last off and defined intervals.
Verify conformance to specifications.
Record results of inspections correctly and maintain traceability.
Inform Quality Manager, production staff and engineering staff of nonconforming product and supply relevant data.
Support the Company's 5S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Assist with 8D investigations.
Assist with the calibration of equipment.
Retain a safe working environment by adhering to the company Health and Safety policy.
Assist with other tasks/activities within the Quality Department.
