The University of Lincoln is a place of high ambition.

We are a university looking to the future where we serve and develop our local, national and international communities by creating purposeful knowledge and research, confident and creative graduates and a dynamic and engaged workforce.

This is an exciting time to be joining our team as the University launches its new strategic plan.

We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Officer (Timetabling).

This new role will be part of a small but highly motivated and dedicated central Timetabling team which forms part of the University's Planning and Business Intelligence department.

The timetabling team is responsible for the management and development of the University's timetabling function and its associated services, including the provision of over individual 16,000 student and staff timetables, the scheduling of examinations, room bookings and regular analysis and interpretation of room usage in order to inform space efficiency and utilisation.

We are a customer focussed service whose main purpose is to ensure the enhancement of the student experience.

We are seeking an energetic and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to work collaboratively across the institution to ensure that the student experience is optimised through our timetabling activities.

You will be able to work using your own initiative providing specialist advice and guidance to colleagues across the University.

Working collaboratively within the timetabling team you will be part of a strong, creative and flexible team and have the confidence to contribute to decision-making and brainstorming ideas for best practice and problem-solving.

Please note this post is fixed term for one year, or until the early return of the post holder.
