Main Purpose of Role
- As a Consumer Products Technical Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting professional audits in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships, primarily for FSSC/ISO22000 and BRCGS Consumer Products, 22716 along with non GFSI related standards and any 2nd Party Audit requests.
- To assist in business development as required and to provide specific technical support to expand the Company's capability to offer valued services to customers
- To write procedures and guidance documents as appropriate.
- To undertake training of auditors and clients.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct audits in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships, primarily BRCGS Consumer Products ISO/FSSC22000 BRCGS Agents and Brokers, 22716 and secondparty audits.
- Complete all chargeable work within the required budget and KPI timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency of the business.
- Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfil customer expectations
- Provide accurate and timely reporting as required by line management to assist the planning and management of operations
- Manage personal schedule to work efficiently and to meet target chargeability requirements as defined by the Operations Manager
- Enhance client satisfaction and ensure compliance with standards
- Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant auditor registrations and relevant industry knowledge
- If required, to provide technical support and staff training to all parts of the business to enhance the service capability of the business
- Support business development activities as required (including follow up and/or referral of enquiries, sales visits, assistance at events, seminars, etc) to enable ongoing growth of the business
- Conduct internal audits of individual auditors, functions or offices to ensure internal compliance with relevant standards
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- First degree, or tertiary equivalent i.e. BA/BSc, HND in Food, Pharmacuetical or bioscience related discipline
- Lead Auditor Qualification
- Recognised HACCP (minimum of 2 days duration with examination)
- BRC Understanding Requirements Courses with Merit pass
Skills & Knowledge
- Demonstrate an excellent working knowledge and understanding of Consumer Products, Pharma, Agent & brokers, and non GFSI Certification requirements (HACCP, GMP), 22716 Cosmetics.
- Excellent working knowledge of management systems, standards and compliance/auditing techniques
- A solid understanding of FSSC / BRCGS / 22716 and UKAS accreditation requirements
- Effective people skills; able to develop good working relationships with people at all levels
- Attention to detail with ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities including all requirements for technical reviews.
