Description

This is a fantastic permanent FP&A Accountant role, which will cover a range of responsibilities including, month end, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and more within a top retail company and brilliant finance team.

The role will be starting immediately,with hybrid working from their London Head office in the City of London.

My client are a very well-known and respected, global retail company with stores and offices based all over the world.

As a leading company they are ever growing and therefore are now looking to add to their already vibrant finance team, with an experiencedfinance analyst/accountant who is looking for a new challenge.

Description

As the FP&A Accountant your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the cost accounting for stores/travel/cash/highstreet+
Preparing and reconciling individual balance sheet, prepayments, accruals and P&L
Communicating regularly with Operations and stakeholders
Performing analysis and financial modelling to produce informative insights and supporting investment decisions
Assist and support arguments for correct level of costs for the business
Leading the forecasting and budgeting process for store costs
Performing variance analysis
Presenting forecast packs to management team and stakeholders
Working with Operations to provide recommendations to mitigate any overspends or future risk of overspend vs forecast identified.
Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis and new opportunity appraisals
Support the Store Costs Accounting Team with workload during busy periods

Profile

Studying, partqualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Previous experience with business partnering, forecasting and delivering month end
Previous experience in retail/FMCG/manufacturing/pharmaceutical/automotive
Strong excel skills (Power BI/SQL/Index matching is highly desirable)
Strong under pressure and in a maintain accuracy in fast paced team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Available to start asap

Job Offer
- £45,000 salary (upon experience)
