Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting a Desktop Technician commutable to Central London on an ad-hoc basis.

Contract Duration: 1 day per week every 1-2 weeks

Rate information:

- £160.00 per day via umbrella (inside IR35)

  • 9.00am pm
  • 1 day per week every 12 weeks from March June 2023

The Role:


  • Prepare, install and configure computer hardware (laptops and desktops) operating systems for customer
  • Deliver computer or other hardware to customer and assist at firsttime login
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Assist networkteam on tasks regarding network (troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware faults)
  • Supporting end users both face to face and remotely
  • Follow script based guidance to repair a fault or set up system
  • Repair/ replace parts where necessary
- support refresh of hardware
- see tasks through to completion

  • Prioritise and manage open cases on Remedy
  • Provide good quality customer service at all times and establish good working relationships
  • Excellent skills in user IT infrastructure
  • Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Handhelds, Smartphone etc
  • Ability to interact with customers so as to ensure that the service is polite, efficient and responsive
  • Ability to work on their own initiative
  • To work through issues analytically and successfully
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area required
  • Prior experience on Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and local language)
  • Background security check required must be able to complete successfully
