Eastleigh


Salary:
£22,000 - £24,500 per annum pro rata dependent upon experience

Hours:
Up to 37.5 hours per week

(Some evening & occasional weekend working will be required)

The Role


You will lead on the day to day HR administration and support to the charity covering all aspects of HR from recruitment, DBS and reference checks, issuing of contracts, booking and maintaining training records, maintaining the HR system and supporting managers in carrying out their HR responsibilities.


As you become more experienced, you will take on more complex HR matters including supporting and advising managers in HR-related issues such as managing long-term sickness, disciplinaries, grievances and other HR processes.

You will be supported to develop yourself and ensure that you stay on top of the latest HR standards.

This includes attending employment seminars, keeping up to date of changes to employment legislation and the opportunity to undertake CIPD training.

As the charity develops, there may be opportunities to manage other HR staff or apprentices within the HR role.


You will also support the Board of Trustees in their governance role including organising Board meetings and taking minutes and supporting the CEO to follow up actions.


About you:

You are a self
- starter who already has some experience in HR and is looking to develop and broaden that experience within a growing charity. You enjoy multi-tasking and have excellent attention to detail, excellent communication skills (written and oral) and most of all, enjoy collaborating with other people to provide an excellent level of service.


At your core is someone who cares about people and enjoys ensuring that all of our staff and volunteers are well-supported in all HR-related matters.
