About the role


You will be working closely with the Early Careers Manager to build relationships with external partners, universities, and schools to help attract and retain a great diverse talent for our Early Careers Programs.


This role requires someone who can work to multiple deadlines, manage their workload efficiently, and be fully committed to attracting, recruiting, and retaining talent for the firm.


Data and the strategic insights gained from analysis of data are key to measuring success but also to continually improving the firms Early Careers strategy so you must be proficient at Microsoft Excel and pivot tables.


Key responsibilities

  • Help coordinate and attend career fairs, host Insight Days, work experience, and other recruitment events which may include occasional travel to offices and universities across the UK
  • Assist with onboarding of workexperience students
  • Work closely with employees in our business areas who support with our assessment and attraction programmes to develop their knowledge and skills
  • Stakeholder management working with schools, colleges, and universities, etc
  • Collaborate with the Inclusion and Diversity team to meet diversityspecific recruiting goals
  • Attend and contribute to regular meetings with leads and managers across the wider HR team.
  • Undertake any other activities that may be required by the Graduate Recruitment Manager

Your skills and qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Drive to see tasks through to completion and to overcome obstacles in your way
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent administrative skills and experience, with excellent attention to detail
  • Fully IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel
  • Ethical approach to managing data. Understanding that you will be handling sensitive peoplerelated information, therefore always exercising discretion and confidentiality
  • An interest in social media and employer branding would be an advantage but not essential
  • Knowledge of apprenticeships and pastoral support and care of apprentices.
  • Ability to embrace new systems and technology
  • Able to multitask
  • Able to work proactively and as part of a team
