We're excited announce two fantastic lead roles at Cardiff and Vale College.

Our Technology Enhance Learning and Digital Success Centre Leads will work within our Technology Enabled Learning team which will enrich and enhance problem-based learning and the wider student experience.

All our students will benefit from a high quality digitally enabled learning and teaching environment which embraces innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.


You will be involved in many Immersive Learning projects within the TEL team and there will be plenty of opportunities to have an impact by using innovative approaches, working with an inspiring and passionate group of people and whilst working on some very exciting projects.

Main responsibilities include:

  • To support the college to meet the 2030 Digital Standards, working to transform teaching and learning and the learner journey, helping to create skilled and employable people.
  • Managing the Success Centres, including Digital Transformation efficiently and effectively, providing a service that is welcoming and which meets the needs of the College and its stakeholders across the Cardiff and Vale sites.
  • Coordinate and motivate the relevant teams within the department and manage resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and implement Welsh Government funding initiatives, ensuring evidence is collated and reported to HOD.
  • Manage the Etutorial programme, ensuring it is tracked and implemented within the college induction and yearly programme.
  • Plan and raise awareness of the enrichment opportunities within the provision for all learners within CAVC.
  • Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.

These are contractual agreements that must be in place before your employment can commence.
