Key Responsibilities:
- To lead on curriculum planning and design across the company so that all learners benefit from sessions that are highly relevant, innovative, engaging and stretching and enable them to make strong progress from their individual starting points and achieve their learning goals.
- Lead the tracking of new Apprenticeship Standards and contracts, and support operational delivery teams to establish learning programmes and schemes of work that meet the new requirements.
- Lead and manage the curriculum content and design, and associated staff.
- To challenge the SEND provision, ensuring scrutiny for Inclusion Lead.
- Head of Centre responsibilities, leading and coordinating IQA/EQA and standardisation activity across the company to ensure that awarding organisation standards are met and DCS status maintained.
- Advising on developing the skills and expertise of staff to be able to design and deliver efficient and engaging delivery models in line with the requirements of Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework.
- Lead on the development and improvement of learning resources including quality checking of efficient delivery models, learning plans, SOW and lesson plans, to improve the standard of materials and resources available to support learning.
- Oversee standards of qualification delivery and assessment across the company, including maintenance of a central log of accreditations.
- Support new product development to ensure that quality criteria are embedded in plans for the design and implementation of all new programmes.
- Take a leading role in identifying best practice and sharing this across the company.
- Contribute to the annual review of the Quality Framework and key learner/quality and compliance processes.
- Drive curriculum quality improvement strategies across the company.
- Drive ongoing selfassessment activity to inform development of the company's overall SAR and QIP.
- Collaborate with the wider quality team in the deep dive process to identify issues where provision is not meeting internal KPI's, providing support and challenge to delivery team managers.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of GC culture and values and promote these in all dealings with staff, partner organisations and customers.
- Promote the health and safety and always safeguarding of learners and staff.
Skills Required:
- PGCE qualified/experienced teacher, assessor and IQA.
- Excellent curriculum planning/design skill.
- Experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders and staff.
About You:
- Prior involvement in quality assurance and quality improvement activities including Ofsted inspection.
- Use of technology to enhance the learning experience.
- The ability to inspire, motivate and drive performance through consistent and transparent leadership actions.
