We are looking for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children with additional needs.
The management team at this Primary School are looking to expand the support network for SEN students within EYFS, particularly for the new intake of reception children in September.
They envisage the successful SEN Teaching Assistant working with a small group of reception children utilising their significant SEN resources, including dedicated rooms, play spaces and sensory items.
You will be supported by the class teacher and several other SEN specialists at the school.
This exciting opportunity will be offered to a driven SEN Teaching Assistant, who will join a friendly and supportive team on a long-term contract basis.
This role would suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with children with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD or Global Delay.
If you would like to be considered for this role you will have:
- Previous SEN experience in a classroom environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use your initiative
- Proven experience in managing challenging behaviour

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
£80.00-£100.00 per day
