Description
Confident and friendly individual required to join the private practice office for a Partnership of Anaesthetic Consultants. The role is based in Woking, within a small friendly team to ensure the smooth running of the Practice.The main duties of the role include:
- Collating and processing billing to raise accurate and timely invoices, using in-house software
- Reconciliation of payments received to bank account
- Issuing patient shortfall payments and reimbursement statements as applicable
- Managing aged debt, chasing shortfalls and unpaid invoices with insurers, hospitals and patients.
- Processing consultant statements to partners to facilitate monthly additional payments
- Provide finance support to Board, Treasurer and Partnership Accountant
- Preparing office staff monthly hours for payroll submission
- Liaison with Patients, Medical Secretaries, Hospital teams and Consultants, majority by phone
- Using inhouse software to process booking forms, create estimates and maintain patient records
- Preparation of an accurate and detailed weekly rota for distribution
- Timely distribution of confidential medical records for anaesthetic review and chasing follow up information if required and preparation of invoices to hospitals for reimbursement
- Other finance and administrative tasks required to support the practice
- Strong work ethic with a flexible and positive cando attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of maintaining clear & concise records and handling confidential records
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient at building positive relationships and coordinating with other teams.
- Previous experience of working within a small team environment
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft packages, essentially Outlook, Word and Excel
For this role it is NOT currently possible to work remotely
Working a min 22.5hrs per week, across 3 days and possibility of increasing to 30hrs over 4 days.
Salary:
£15 per hour
