Description

CRP Group are working with a large Manufacturing organisation which are currently recruiting 2 5 Axis CNC Millers to both programme & run machines within their specialist production process.

This will include the use of Fanuc controls, finding/ editing programmesand working to small productive margins to manufacture high quality goods.

Main Responsibilities and Requirements

Programme and run a range of engineering machines (DOOSAN MACHINES WITH FANUC CONTROLS and Mazak 5 axis machine knowledge of Mazak machines)
Check manufactured parts for compliance to drawing
Ensure that health and safety guidelines and practices are followed in line with company policy
Assist with problem solving any issues that appear
Identify and develop manufacturing improvements/ procedures
Operate a CMM machine

Essential points

Experience working in an engineering setting, with Fanuc controls and 3 & 4 axis machine experience.
Understanding of Engineering practices and methods
Basic Knowledge of computer programs (Word, Excel etc.)
Able to navigate and have an understanding around directory structures and network drives
Able to think logically through solving a problem
Dedication to the job and a willingness to achieve as well as a good sense of urgency
